Derrill and Lois have us for dinner. Derrill knows how to filet the Northern Pike and remove the "Y" bones, so that the filets are boneless. He has a great recipe for deep fat frying them with "Freedom Fries". Also, we had fresh coleslaw.
Afterward we play a tile game called Spinner. Norma and Bill brought the game from Arkansas, and is probably not produced now. Traditionally we drink pop, beer, and eat red Twizzlers, cashews, and beef jerky from Shamp's.
Derrill and Lois have a home in Florida for the winter. They spend the summer at Big Trout. Obviously, they have seniority at Big Trout!
