October was mild, so we took a 5 day spur of moment run to Jackson Hole with cousin Rick, & his wife, Pat.  Back through Yellowstone, and home by way of the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming.  The weather was good, but dodged snow and rode through a cold rain the last day.

Antler Arches.

The center square of Jackson, Wy has antler archways at all four corners.

Touring.

The big beemer will carry a lot, but not as much as most tourers.

Grand Teton Mountain Range.

Susie wore her Aerostitch Darien.

Herr Captain.

With the Langlitz Leather I looked like a Austrian.

North Tetons.

From the look of the ground we were on, I'd say this spot is photographed about a million times each year.

Jackson Hat.

Marilyn, at Jackson Hole Hat will make you a custom cowboy hat. Premium.

Rick & Pat.

One of the few times he wore a helmet. He still looks kinda "bad".

Yellowstone Lake Lodge.

The front facing the lake. The lake is behind you.

Yellowstone Lake Lodge.

Susie stands on the porch from the last picture. The lake is behind her. Built in the railroad days for rich easterners.

Yellowstone Lake Lodge.

Old elegance. The sitting room adjacent to the dining room. We had a gormet lunch there. They were closing the next day.

Northern Bighorn Mtn Pass.

We went through at noon, and the pavement was wet.

Big Horn Pass.

Looking to the SE. Note silk scarf (old cowboy trick) and thermostat for Gerbing electric heater liners.

Big Horn Pass.

Looking NW. Gerbing electric liners plug into the bike's electrical system.

Mt. Rushmore.

Changed much since the last visit. The visitor center and viewing area is behind me.

Mt. Rushmore.

Susie stands before the avenue of state flags. The parking ramp, no kidding, is behind you.

Mt. Rushmore.

Looked brighter at dusk to us than the camera. The reflective tape on Susie's jacket is from the camera flash.

Mt. Rushmore.

You can walk on boardwalk to the base of the mountain. Susie faces the stone visitor buildings. The monument is behind her.
