We try to snowshoe in Stone State Park for the last time before the spring melt.  We start at the Ranger Station, follow trails, make some of our own, and generally goof around.  This day we followed Deer Run to the old Boy Scout Camp.  Then across the frozen lake to the west and over the  island.  Heading east up over the ridges and through the forests to the Mt. Lucia connector from the "Wall" trail.  Back down cross country to the trail out to the horse trailer parking lot.  Just enough snow to do it, but this is it for winter-spring of 2004.  Frosty is melting fast!
