Mom always has a dinner and pumpkin carving prior to Halloween. The event has become a production. The pumpkins used to be simple, but now with templates, and miniature saws, they are complex.
Dinner was ham, beans almondine, cheesy potatoes, and Mandarin orange Jell-O salad. Halloween sheet cake to finish it off, plus a few adult beverages. Don't you wish you were there?
