Lobelia cardinalis and Turtle's Head bloom in fall.

Krossa regal hosta, Highbush cranberry. The hybrid 'Palace Purple' Coral Bells died last winter. Impatiens is an annual.

Japanese iris.

Our soil is very alkaline in the Loess Hills. Takes work to keep acid loving Japanese iris going.

Monarch butterflies love them. 'Alma Potschke' next to it.
